I was so looking forward to possibly seeing Mike at the reunion this year. Good guy, good friend, very good musician. Loved to listen and watch him playing his drums. Brings back my love for the times, the music, the bands, the jams and dances... Lentos & the Night Riders, Lydia Pense with The Dimensions (later w/Cold Blood), The Warlocks - a.k.a. The Grateful Dead, William Penn & Pals, The Sit-Ins, Sly & The Family Stone, etc., etc., etc.; as well as The Redwood Roller Rink Sop Hops, Jr High and High School dances; America Legion and Odd Fellows Halls, The Cinnamon Tree, The Winchester Cathedral, etc., etc. etc.. Thanks Mike and rest well. When I hear the thunder, I'll think that perhaps its you playing your drums in Heaven's band.
