What to say about Arnie? We laughed until we cried every time we got together. We walked home from Sequoia along the same route and we would have to stop and bend over with laughter - couldn't keep going until we caught our breath. I was really looking forward to seeing him at our gathering in '06, then learned he was deceased. Broke my heart. He was a twinkly guy!

Arnie and I grew up across the street from each other, on Hillview. He was ( as Alene says above) both sweet and funny. And he was a very gentle soul.

Once, when we were children, I recall sitting on his lawn while he entralled me with descriptions of the Natural History Museum in New York.
And when we were teenagers, he was going away for awhile, and sold me his VW bus for a dollar. My first - but temporary- car, because I sold it back to him for a dollar when he returned.
A sensitive and kind person.

I grieved for him when he died....far, far too early.
