Mike was a great guy all the way. He was senselessly murdered in the summer of 1975 by a man who intially posed as a puchaser for Mike's Porsche. They went for a test drive. The driver shot Mike in the head and took the car. Such a cruel, tragic, senseless act. I also knew Mike's sister Marcy who was dating one of my college house mates. I believe Mike was enagaged at the time of his death. I do hope some of Mike's close friends will post here and tell us what he did after Sequoia and what his plans were before he was so cruelly taken from us. Rest in peace.
Mike and I were great friends at Sequoia. We had this awesome surf band, "The Safari's". I still have our band card after all these years. His death was a senceless tragedy. I think of Mike often. We miss you Mike.
Hard to believe such a tragic tale. To think we might have heard the band again, reunited in 2017. Are there any recordings made by the band? It would be great to know that he is with us afterall.
